El Paraíso Golf Club — how to open your Drive folder
One page for every role. Fill in the boxes, then follow the steps. Drive uses your personal Google email, not the role mailbox.

1. Sign in to Chrome (or your browser) first
- Open Chrome (or Edge / Safari / Firefox).
- Click the round picture in the top right of the browser (or go to gmail.com / drive.google.com).
- Sign in with your Google email from the box above. Check the email on screen — it must match.
- If more than one account is listed, click yours. Do not pick a role account such as secretary@, finance@, chairman@.
2. Open the Event Register
- Go to the Event Register address above.
- Log in with your member ID and password.
- Click My Role → My Google Drive Directory (or the Drive button for your role).
3. Find EPGC Root
- Google Drive opens. Confirm the top-right Google account is still your email.
- If you see your own files only: left menu → Shared with me → open EPGC Root (or your role folder).
- Optional: right-click the folder → Organise → Add shortcut to My Drive so it stays easy to find.
Mail and Drive are different
- Webmail = role mailbox (secretary@, finance@, …) for club email.
- Drive = your own Google email. Never log into a role mailbox just to use Drive.
If something looks wrong
- Wrong files / no EPGC Root: wrong Google account. Top right → switch to your email, then Shared with me.
- “Request access”: stop. Switch Google account to the email in the box. Do not send a request from another Gmail.
- Still stuck: tell the administrator your role and the Google email shown top right in Drive.
Do not use club admin Google accounts. Do not open a Drive share from Webmail while signed in as someone else. When you leave the role, your email is removed from the folder; the next person uses the same steps with their email.
